Officials of the Nigerian National Emergency Management Agency
(NEMA), were driven away from the collapse scene of the Synagogue Church
of All Nations in Ikotun, Lagos.
An anonymous source from NEMA reportedly Sahara Reporters that the
church's security staff had aggressively chased them (NEMA) away from
the scene with force and threatening words.
It is understood that they even smashed Nigerian Television Authority's
(NTA) camera as well as attacking emergency aid officials who felt
reluctant to leave.
See photos of injured persons below..
It is unknown why the church's security officials put up such 'barbaric'
behavior but some speculated that the church may have been trying to
cover up the secret behind the collapsed building while others alleged
that Ebola virus patients were being kept there.
