UPDATE: Lagos Bird Woman Reportedly Dies In Hospital [See Details]

The woman who fell from a high tension cable as a bird and transformed to a middle-aged woman has passed died.

From the photo above, it was speculated that she was severely electrocuted and burnt by the electric cable (as a bird) which forced her to the ground and she then changed back to human.

As the shocking incident happened, the police after preventing lynch mobs who would've mobbed her to death, rushed her to the hospital with their van but it is understood that she was already unconscious as the police were driving her away.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu said:

“Eyewitnesses said there was a bird which fell down and turned into a woman. So, a large crowd gathered round her. She was not attacked. Eventually, when the police got there, they rescued the woman from the surging crowd. But unfortunately, she died, and her body has been deposited at the Mainland General Hospital’s morgue.”

One Mr. Sowoloa, who claimed to be an eyewitness of the incident, told Punch:

“It was at 12 in the afternoon. I was also at the bus stop with friends. We saw one of the birds hit a high-tension cable. It shrieked and landed on the ground. Before we took any notice, it was a badly burnt woman we saw.It is unbelievable but it is true. When we spoke to the woman, she claimed to have some magical powers, and had killed several people. She added that she was returning to her husband’s house in Mushin before the incident. So, some people started taking her photographs.”
